So, my blog has a few main differences compared to other sites.
1.) Kid-friendly. The game is rated 13. 13-year-olds should not have an interest in sexy poses or lingerie or worse. My site only includes kid eye-friendly clothing. The worst thing on my blog will be a string bikini, small top or short shorts/bikini bottoms. My site will always be 100% pose free and nude Sim pic free. It makes me and younger/less flashy potential readers more comfortable. I also try not to enforce the strong objectification of women that many Sim sites push.
2.) Computer Friendly. Downloading off third party sites can be nerve-racking. Any known sites that include pushy ads, pop ups or even just known viruses are simply ignored. That means no items from TSR will ever be included in my posts. I have never had a problem with TSR'S downloads themselves but slightly mature (or should I say IMMATURE) ads are featured along with threatening pop-ups that are known to hurt computers. Also, TSR is known to slow or infect other user's games and computers. If I share something that is a known danger, notification would be appreciated.
3.) Newb Friendly :). I will never share anything that requires a more strong knowledge of the game/hardware. That means NO game mods. For people unfamiliar with the game or workings of a computer, this can result in gaming problems and confusion. I do not reinforce the use of game mods. I own only one mod and it is a very mild, very small OMSP. LOL. I do not use mods.
4.) Casual Gamer friendly. Registration will never be needed. Ads will never be added to the site. Donations will never be asked for.
So I just created a MS3B type thing with restrictions that can reduce frustration, confusion, viruses, slow games and unwanted material. It is kind of my dream CC resource. Hope it works out.
In short, I wanted to create a CC resource EVERYONE could use, and I am super excited about it.
I hope it will be fun, easy and safe to use with lots of personality :)!
It's time to usher in a new age in content sharing and a new age in the Sims series. Well, Sims 3 for now. :)
